Seth Levine is a Managing Director of Foundry Group, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on the information technology sector. Seth is also a Principal with Mobius Venture Capital.
Prior to Foundry Group and Mobius, Seth served as Vice President of Corporate Development for Verado Holdings, Inc. When the company decided to focus on its data center and hosting business, Seth assumed operational control of the remainder of the business and led the Internet service provider, telephony and network integration portions of the company, representing in total approximately $50 million in revenue. He managed the sale of these lines of business in 2001. Prior to his operational role at Verado, Seth was responsible for the mergers & acquisitions, business analysis, investor relations and corporate development/corporate finance functions for Verado. In this capacity Seth oversaw Verado's nine acquisitions during a 12 month period and created Verado's investor relations and business analysis functions. Seth was also a key member of the team responsible for Verado's March 2000 IPO and helped secure over $90 million in additional capital from Texas Pacific Group, SAIC, Microsoft and Lucent that closed simultaneous with Verado's IPO.
Prior to joining Verado, Seth held various Corporate and Business Development positions with ICG Communications, Inc. Seth has also worked for Morgan Stanley, where he focused on financings, reorganizations, mergers & acquisitions and advisory work for emerging communications companies.
Seth is a summa cum laude graduate of Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota and sits on the advisory boards of several start-up Internet and communications companies and is also on the board of CU Denver's Bard Center for Entrepreneurship.
