Dave Taylor has been involved with the Internet since 1980. A prolific author, he has been published over a thousand times, and sold over 500,000 books, including "Wicked Cool Shell Scripts", "Learning Unix for Mac OS X Panther", the best-selling "Creating Cool HTML 4 Web Pages", "Teach Yourself Unix in 24 Hours", and "Global Software".
Dave also runs the popular Q&A style blog AskDaveTaylor.com.
Dave has spoken at many industry conferences including MacWorld, Internet Expo, EDI World, Internet World, the Waterside Publishing Conference, and Web Commerce.
Dave has created, grown, arranged for outside investments and ultimately sold The Internet Mall and iTrack.com. He has also sold off startup ClickThruStats LLC, and has at least two additional startup ventures he's nurturing along. Without question, Dave is an experienced entrepreneur and corporate executive.
He has a Bachelors in Computer Science, a Masters in Educational Computing and a Masters in Business Administration. He teaches business and technology classes for both the University of Colorado, Boulder and the University of Phoenix Online. |
